Around the time the album "DISORDER" was released, Gazette departed for the event tour "TRIBAL ARIVALL ura* TOUR 2004".

Having decided in December the tour "ROYAL DISORDER" then in next February "GRAND ROYAL DISORDER", also two standing tours decided for the second third of October, in the second half of the ura tour Gazette was approached by direct hit on the phone!

We deliver the recent voice of the energetically accelerated five men.

*According to my sources I think ura might mean "underground"

--How are you? You haven't caught a cold or anything?

Ruki : I'm Fine! This year I haven't even caught a cold once. Although once in a while my throat condition is bad, my physical condition is fine.

--What kind of feelings do you have about the recent tour?

Ruki: At first, we said things like, "Let's do it like a festival" but now when it has fully started it's become earnest after all.

--Did you plan on events and such releasing tension?

Ruki: Yes. But when it comes to the actual live, one man, we fully put in an unchanging power, of course. (laugh)

--Were you aware of the fact that your labelmates, senpai Kra and kohai bis were being called rival bands?

Ruki: Before going we don't sense it, but whenever we go on tour together we are not rival bands. However, I think it becomes good motivation.　

--But it seems like you don't have time to see other bands' lives...

Ruki: No, there is plenty of time allowed to watch it. Going to peep in between makeup, things like that.

--Were there things that caused you to say "wow!" then?

Ruki: I said "Whoa, cool!" Because there are many reference points that are different than my own band. It is becoming a great encouragement.

--On stage is there a powerful energy?

Ruki: Yes. (laughs) When it is a one man, you consider the flow of songs which seems like a development, but at an event, because the things which you have 2 hours or more to do at the one man, you must collect and show in 30 or 40 minutes, putting out the number one best points is the feeling that you have.

--For the significance of your unexpected fans, in terms of your vocalist appearance, even if it's an MC part, do you change your style at an event?

Ruki: I try to be more talkative than usual but... there is no especially big change. I unexpectedly get passionate when there are fans who don't know us. (laughs) If there are other bands fans, I get even more passionate.

--That's true. Is there a place or something which after the 5 lives left an impression?

Ruki: It's Hiroshima . More than the last time we went there, the energy was so bad and exceptional that it surprised me.

--Was the last time not good?

Ruki: It was not suitable. (bitter smile) I realized it was out of our control last time.

--Incidentally, depending on the completion of the album "DISORDER", during your current tour was there a recognizable change in the performance of your older songs?

Ruki: Less a change in the way we were using our image before, more that after we completed the songs it was a feeling of riding on the image, but the new songs on DISORDER, the image preceded it. Formerly the lyrics had the image, besides we were making songs so we could add sound effects, you know.

--Having done that, then even more now the songs will quickly spread throughout you?

Ruki: Oh, that's right. Until now songs, if we grow accustomed, there isn't that kind of thing. At the time it is completed, we are able to be in harmony at the lives, but it wasn't like the state where your body moves involuntarily. But, from the start when we rehearsed at the studio the songs on DISORDER, it was the best feeling... felt like prancing. (laugh)

--On this several week event tour, were there any unusual events?

Ruki: For the first time in a while I feel like I talked to other people outside of Gazette's members....

--Ordinarily are you just that much of an unsocial type!?

Ruki: It seems I had not had a nice passionate chat in a long time... (laugh) Only with the members, it had been a long time since talking with someone outside of the band.

--On this tour, have you experienced seeing anything new?

Ruki: I thought it would be good if I could start keeping my composure onstage. So far it is a nice energy rush, (bitter laugh) that ends up being that I must endure it, and afterwards it has been coming out as a matter that I regret. However, while cooling down now and having time to think, letting myself listen to the songs, in the violent songs there is a theme of sending intensity.

--Until now at the company, Gazette was the youngest child and when a new band entered, already it's become a standpoint of coming up from the bottom.

Ruki: I think so. Finally it has come, this moment! (bitter laugh) At all times I will try to not to lose sight of myself.

--Soon the year-end year-beginning tour will be started, do you have any concepts for it already?

Ruki: well since the opening... I don't know yet how to be, but the ideal is putting DISORDER's world in the front. For the album, the song order was made to be able to go as it is at lives.

--Certainly if it's performed like that at the lives it's a good flow.

Ruki: That's right. Since that is the artistic part. If at all possible I want to do all the songs. From the next tour, I think we want to change the live mood and pattern.

-- Starting at the next one man, it seems a new Gazette will be seen.

Ruki: I think the reaction to "DISORDER" is varied. Even from the shop person telling me "I don't know where the band is". But, since that is the way of our intentions, you know I'm glad they thought that. Even though in our fans I think there are people who are surprised, I say to them "follow us!" At the live, we want you to physically feel "DISORDER".
